Lead Climbing

marty2-1Lead climbing probably has more to do with how you think about the climb than it has to do with the climb itself. For example, as a beginner you may walk into a climbing arena for the first time and look up at the lead wall towering above you. The immediate thoughts are often “I will never be able to do that.” For some, that thought becomes encoded in the subconscious and becomes a deep rooted belief. “If you believe you never will, you’re probably right.” Understanding the thought processes of the client, as well as understanding past history that may have got them to this point can all be used to build up a picture of what NLP interventions we should use to overcome these limiting and restricting beliefs.
