1. Coach and Client will jointly agree on the areas/outcomes that will be focused on during this time (as above). Coach is dedicated to help Client with their areas / outcomes in the least amount of time possible. In practice this means that session length is flexible, since it is impossible to know beforehand what may come up during a session. Sometimes it is better to keep going with a longer session, rather than to stop and re-start at a later date. Coach usually will not push to make the next appointment. It is more important for the Client to be aware of their progress and continue when they feel it is right for them to do so.
2. For ongoing coaching, Coach agrees to facilitate and Client agrees to follow the coaching plan.
3. For ongoing coaching, Coach agrees to spend appropriate amount of time in preparation for meetings with Client.
4. Client understands that the results of any coaching will depend on their ability to take action and to follow the instructions and exercises to the best of their abilities, communicate clearly with the Coach, and to take responsibility for the results achieved; the Coach can only facilitate. The responsibility for making the processes work is the Client’s alone as no one else can do them for them.
5. Client agrees to share with Coach all issues on which Client needs assistance. Client agrees that issues not shared with Coach may not be resolved or may impede the successful achievement of their goals and objectives. Coach agrees to use best efforts to assist Client to resolve issues shared with Coach and also agrees to full confidentiality.
6. Client agrees that Coach may assign tasks to be done in (before/after) the sessions, and that Client will give their best effort to fulfil these tasks. These tasks are often as important as the work done during a session. Client further agrees that if tasks are not done the outcome of the coaching cannot be predicted. Coach recommends that Client also arranges for some quiet personal reflection time after a session to enable Client to integrate the results of the session fully.
7. Client understands that Coach is not providing psychological or medical advice and that Coaching should in no way replace sound treatment from a licensed health care provider. Your Coach is not a licensed Medical Doctor, Psychologist, Psychiatrist or Social Worker. The services you receive are not licensed in this country, nor are they regulated by a governmental body. Coach will always provide only those services in which they have been trained, and if they find that they cannot help you, Coach will refer you to a licensed person who can assist you. If you have been prescribed medication (and in particular, anti-depressants of any form), you need to present Coach with a letter of consent from your Medical Doctor before coaching works starts. This means a short written note stating that that you have informed your health care provider of your decision to engage in NLP & Time Line Therapy™ techniques. Furthermore, nothing that happens when we meet should be construed as, nor should you believe that it is a substitute for the advice of a licensed person.
8. Payments should be made in advance, to arrive no later than 5 working days before the coaching session. Payments can be made by cheque, to Ascent NLP Ltd, address 23 Kirkfield View, Livingston Village, EH54 7BP. Other payment methods are available on request.
9. Cancellations made within 48 hrs will be charged at 50% of the session fee, and cancellations within 24 hours will be charged in full.
10. Please note that the coaching rooms are usually in use by other clients immediately before and after your sessions. To ensure you receive your full coaching session, please arrive promptly. Time lost as a result of client arriving late will still be charged at the agreed rate.
