Managing Stress

Stress can be felt everywhere in a modern life and learning how to manage stress is essential in a business environment. In this module we look at the values of a business and of the individual, and learn how a mismatch in values can create significant stress to both.

We look at individual communications styles, how they may differ to those of the management and how, especially in time pressured situations, this can lead to conflict and stress if not addressed. We learn about different ways of motivating staff, and how this can be used to reduce stress levels.

We also look at how to de-personalise stressful situations so that they become more manageable.
